Project overview

Website revamp, rebranding, and cloud migration for a public company website.

This case study documents the transition from PJBI to PLN Nusantara Renewables across domain, website, brand alignment, infrastructure, and launch support.

Overview

Goritmix was trusted to support the development of a microsite for PLN Nusantara Renewables as part of the company’s effort to strengthen digital communication around environmental commitment, sustainability, and community empowerment.

The microsite was developed to help PLN Nusantara Renewables communicate its values, commitments, and initiatives in running a sustainable business. With AKHLAK principles as guidance for every step and decision, the company is committed to internalizing environmental, social, and governance aspects into its business strategy.

Through this microsite, the company’s sustainability values can be communicated in a more directed, informative, and publicly accessible way. The website also became a digital channel to strengthen awareness of PLN Nusantara Renewables’ role in supporting the environment, empowering communities, and responding to climate challenges.

In this project, Goritmix supported the full development process, from listening to requirements, creating the initial design, development, UAT support, go-live, post go-live support, and BAST.

Background

As a company operating in the renewable energy sector, PLN Nusantara Renewables is committed not only to business growth, but also to environmental, social, and governance aspects.

This commitment is reflected through sustainability principles aligned with AKHLAK values: Amanah, Kompeten, Harmonis, Loyal, Adaptif, and Kolaboratif. These values form the basis for responsible, sustainable business strategy that creates positive impact for society and the environment.

To support communication around this commitment, PLN Nusantara Renewables needed a microsite that could present information clearly, attractively, and accessibly. The microsite was expected to represent the company’s concern for the environment, communities, and climate change challenges.

Scope of work

Four workstreams handled the transition end to end.

The scope covered domain access, website revamp, cloud migration, and post-launch technical support.

01

Requirement Gathering

The project started by listening to and understanding PLN Nusantara Renewables’ needs. Goritmix helped clarify the microsite goals, content requirements, information structure, and visual direction.

This stage created a clear foundation for development and ensured the solution aligned with company communication goals.

  • Understood the main messages that needed to be communicated.
  • Identified page, content, and information structure requirements.
  • Aligned the microsite requirements with PLN Nusantara Renewables’ identity.
  • Aligned business, communication, and technical expectations.

The microsite requirements were understood and defined as the basis for the next design and development stages.

02

Initial Design

  • Ensured responsive display on desktop and mobile.
  • Checked basic website functionality.
  • Prepared the microsite for stakeholder testing.

The microsite was developed according to the initial design and became ready for UAT.

04

User Acceptance Test

Feedback and findings from stakeholders were reviewed and followed up so the microsite was ready before publication.

Key activities

  • Supported UAT with stakeholders.
  • Checked website display, content, and functionality.
  • Recorded feedback, revisions, and required adjustments.
  • Implemented fixes based on UAT results.
  • Ensured the final result matched the agreed requirements.

The microsite passed UAT and received validation to continue to go-live.

05

Go-Live

After the microsite was approved through UAT, Goritmix supported the go-live process so the website could be accessed publicly.

The stage included final checks for configuration, display, content, and website access.

Key activities
